DEITIES SERIES
“Quetzalcoatl. ”
DEITIES / Mythological entities.
This piece is part of my series on mythological beings and entities viewed from a contemporary perspective, developing a Mexican-cyberpunk aesthetic shaped by my personal vision. This is how I imagine Quetzalcóatl — the Feathered Serpent, Mexica deity of knowledge, wind, the planet Venus, and human creation.
But the more I explore, the more I’m convinced that Quetzalcóatl wasn’t a god in the traditional sense… but rather a biomechanical being from another dimension — an alien presence with the ability to alter human biology.
Like a kind of genetic engineer who descended from the sky with advanced technology — perhaps similar to the Anunnaki or the Nephilim, entities described in other cultures as “creator gods who came down from the stars.”
What if all cultures were visited by the same being, just known by different names?
What if Quetzalcóatl, Enki, and Thoth are actually the same interdimensional traveller?
This figure doesn’t just symbolise knowledge — it embodies duality: serpent and bird, sky and earth, wisdom and sacrifice.
In this piece, I wanted to honour them as an androgynous being, without defined gender — a bearer of genetics that transcend race, mythology, and galaxy.
The serpent is no longer sin.
It is stellar genetic code.
